Privacy Policy

How we handle your data.

1. Who we are

PPV Live Stream is operated by Daily Media Sdn. Bhd. (1579005-X), a company incorporated in Malaysia ("we", "us", "our"). This policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect personal data in connection with the ppvlive.stream website and the PPV Live Stream service — pay-per-view ticketing, stream access, WhatsApp communications, and our affiliate and media partner programmes. We process personal data in accordance with the Personal Data Protection Act 2010 (PDPA) of Malaysia.

Questions or requests about your data: shahrir@dailymedia.com.my.

2. What we collect

When you visit this website — we keep it minimal. The site has no accounts and sets no advertising cookies. Embedded third-party content (such as the YouTube video player on our homepage) may set its own cookies, governed by that provider's policy.

We use Google Analytics 4 to see which pages people actually read. It records the pages you open, the approximate location your network resolves to (city level, from your IP address, which Google does not give us), your device and browser type, and how you arrived. We do not send Google your name, your email address or your phone number.

It sets two first-party cookies on your device:

  • _ga — distinguishes one browser from another. Expires after 2 years.
  • _ga_<id> — keeps track of a single visit. Expires after 2 years.

Google's advertising features, Google Signals and remarketing are switched off, and we do not use this data to target advertising anywhere.

When you buy a PPV ticket — through our checkout (operated on our ticketing platform and payment partners), we collect your name, email address, and mobile number, plus your order details. We do not store your card numbers or banking credentials — payments are processed by licensed Malaysian payment providers (FPX, DuitNow, cards, e-wallets, and buy-now-pay-later rails).

When we deliver your ticket and stream access — we record delivery and verification events: one-time passcodes (OTP), the devices used to watch (to enforce device limits), and WhatsApp/SMS/email delivery status.

When you message us on WhatsApp — we receive your number, profile name, and message content, processed through the WhatsApp Business Platform to answer you and deliver your purchases.

When you join the affiliate or media partner programme — we collect your name, contact details, bank account details (for commission payouts), and your referral performance data (clicks, sales, commissions).

3. How we use it

  • To process your ticket purchase and deliver your stream access;
  • To verify it's really you (OTP) and enforce the ticket's device limit;
  • To send service messages — order confirmations, stream links, kickoff reminders for matches you bought — by WhatsApp, SMS, or email;
  • To operate the affiliate and media partner programmes, including attributing sales to your link and paying commissions;
  • To prevent fraud, account sharing, and unauthorised re-streaming;
  • To improve the service and produce aggregate (non-identifying) statistics;
  • To meet our legal and accounting obligations.

Marketing broadcasts (such as upcoming-match promotions) are sent only where permitted, and every broadcast includes a way to opt out — reply STOP (or the stated keyword) on WhatsApp, or contact us at the email above.

4. Who we share it with

  • The club or rights holder whose match you purchased — purchaser details for matches you buy form part of that club's supporter records, used to serve you as their fan (for example matchday communications). This is core to how the service works;
  • Google LLC — as the provider of Google Analytics 4, which processes site usage data on our behalf and under its own terms. Google states that Analytics data is not sold and not used to identify you personally. Seehow Google uses information from sites that use its services;
  • Payment providers — to process your payment and payouts;
  • Meta / WhatsApp — to deliver WhatsApp messages via the WhatsApp Business Platform;
  • Infrastructure providers — cloud hosting, content delivery, and messaging services that run the platform, bound by their own security obligations;
  • Authorities — where required by Malaysian law.

We do not sell personal data.

5. Where your data lives and how long we keep it

Data is stored on secured cloud infrastructure which may be located outside Malaysia; where that is the case we take reasonable steps to ensure it is protected to a comparable standard. We keep personal data only as long as needed for the purposes above — transaction records are retained for the periods required by Malaysian tax and accounting law, and messaging records for as long as needed to operate support and delivery.

Google Analytics data is transferred to and processed by Google on serversoutside Malaysia — Google has no Analytics data centre region here. We rely on Google's own contractual protections and security measures for that transfer. Analytics records are kept for 14 months, after which Google deletes them.

6. Security

Data is encrypted in transit. Stream access is protected by one-time passcodes and device limits. Access to systems holding personal data is restricted to authorised personnel, with credentials held in managed secret storage.

7. Your rights

Under the PDPA you may request access to and correction of your personal data, and you may withdraw consent to processing (which may mean we can no longer provide parts of the service — for example, we cannot deliver a stream link without a contact channel). To exercise any of these rights, email shahrir@dailymedia.com.my. We will respond within the timeframes required by law. Step-by-step deletion instructions are on our Data Deletion page.

You can stop the analytics collection yourself, at any time, without asking us:

  • Install the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on, which stops it on every site you visit;
  • Block or delete cookies for this site in your browser settings;
  • Use your browser's private or incognito mode.

8. Children

Ticket purchases are intended to be made by persons aged 18 or over, or with the involvement of a parent or guardian. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the service evolves. The "last updated" date above reflects the current version, and material changes will be highlighted on this page.
